Funtech started business in 2006 in the UK as an international mobile top-up company, selling mobile top-up vouchers through voucher terminals, physical agent networks and online. We soon realised that our mobile vouchers were used as value for cross border micropayments.
As demand for our services increased, we decided to develop a more robust system to manage the micro-payments seamlessly. We thought our job was complete when we went through 3 years of redevelopment only to find out that our job just started with multiple money transfer companies integrating into our core system to deliver their money transfer services thereby creating a web of delivery channels. We now safely deliver funds to over 160 countries.
